You can find the TrackView installer in your Downloads folder. Click on the Mac or Windows links above to find your installation instructions. Please note that TrackView is a computer application and cannot be installed on a phone. Have fun!

MacOS Installation

TrackView is made up of three components: the application and two processes that enable TrackView to process and view AIF/AIFF files and images. To get the most out of TrackView, you'll need to initialize the FFMPEG and FFPROBE processes as part of the installation.

MacOS Installation Instructions.

  1. Download TrackView from your email.
    Look for the email titled "Your TrackView download is enclosed!" If it doesn't show up in a few minutes, contact support@trackstage.io.





  2. Install TrackView.
    Drag the TrackView installer to your Applications folder.





  3. Click Open in the installation dialog box.


  4. Open TrackView.
    Double-click on the TrackView icon in your Applications folder.




    The TrackView application and TrackTools start up window will open.





  5. Close the TrackTools window.





  6. Drag your audio file to the TrackView window
    Drag any audio file to the TrackView window.




    The TrackView icon will spin, then your track's metadata will be viewable.



    Hover over the coloured icons to view definitions, examples and suggestions for CRITICAL, IMPORTANT, HELPFUL, and ADDITIONAL metadata in the info pane.



Windows Installation

To ensure your installation proceeds properly, be sure to disable or pause BitDefender or any other anti-virus programs before installing TrackView.

Windows Installation Instructions.

  1. Download TrackView from your email.
    Look for the email titled "Your TrackView download is enclosed!" If it doesn't show up in a few minutes, contact support@trackstage.io.




  2. Launch the TrackView installer (.msi)
    Press NEXT to begin the setup process.




  3. Press the Install button to begin the installation.



    The installation process will proceed. You will be asked by Windows security to allow the install to continue - Click Yes.


  4. Click Next to complete the Installation.





  5. Click Finish.



    Now it's time to install TrackTools.


  6. Click Yes to open the TrackTools installer.



    The TrackTools installer window will open.


  7. Click Next to start the TrackTools Setup.




    The Destination Folder confirmation will open.


  8. Click Next to confirm the installation directory.




    TrackTools is ready to install.


  9. Click Install to start the installation.






  10. Click Finish to complete the installation.




    TrackTools is installed and you are ready to use TrackView.


  11. From the Start Menu, open TrackView.




    The TrackView application window and the TrackTools start up window will open.


  12. Select an audio file and drag it to the TrackView Window.



    The TrackView icon will spin, then your track's metadata will be viewable.
